5οΈβ£ Simple & Affordable Packaging Guide
You do not need expensive materials. Safe and secure packaging can be done affordably.
πΌ Canvas Paintings
Affordable method:
β Place baking paper or clean tissue paper over the painted surface
β Wrap fully in bubble wrap (available cheaply in rolls)
β Use a strong cardboard box (reused boxes are acceptable if sturdy)
β Fill gaps with scrunched paper to prevent movement
For smaller canvases, double-layered cardboard can work if taped securely.
πΏ Small Sculptures
β Wrap carefully in bubble wrap
β Protect fragile areas with extra padding
β Place in a small box
β Fill empty space with paper, newspaper, or tissue
β Seal securely with strong tape
If heavy, reinforce the bottom of the box with extra tape.
πΈ Photographs & Prints
Unframed Prints:
β Place inside a plastic sleeve (optional but helpful)
β Sandwich between two thick pieces of cardboard
β Tape edges securely
β Ship in flat envelope
Framed Prints:
β Wrap in bubble wrap
β Protect corners with folded cardboard
β Place in sturdy box
β Fill gaps with paper
Avoid tubes unless the print is designed to be rolled.
6οΈβ£ Postage & Shipping Reimbursement
You will not lose money on postage.
Shipping costs are:
β Calculated based on the artworkβs size and weight
β Added to the customerβs total at checkout
You will be reimbursed for the full shipping amount once the sale is processed.
We recommend:
β Using tracked postage where possible
β Keeping proof of postage
7οΈβ£ Payments, Commission & Student Bonus Fund
